The existing Fire Hydrant systems is firelite and as per the asset renewal program is due to replacement. This project includes, initial flow and pressure testing, removal of redundant pipework and intallation of circa 4km of pipework to be replaced during curfew hours in order to casue no disruption to operations

Mainly focusing on Terminal 3 the scope includes a complete replacement of the Dry Fire system, Emergency Warning & Intercommunication System (EWIS), Public Address System (PA), re-fresh of the current Fire Matrix and gap analysis. In addition to Fire Services upgrades we are also installing centralized UPS’s and improving the resilience of the ICT network which strategically connects each terminal to the airports Incident Operations Centre (IOC).

Emergency & Exit Lighting systems

As part of the Asset renewal program, Emergency and Exit lighting systems were to be replaced with a wireless solution that also allowed for an up to-date monitoring and reporting system. This project includes new head ends, waps, software and lights. This project spans over multple building including circa 6000 lights
